We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Huntersville, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and account coding. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing indirect payables and a strong grasp of accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: • Process invoices accurately, ensuring proper coding and alignment with company policies. • Manage account coding and reconcile discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy. • Handle payment transactions, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs, in a timely manner. • Oversee utility payments and ensure their proper documentation. • Utilize Oracle systems to streamline accounts payable operations efficiently. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice-related queries and issues. • Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and address any outstanding balances. • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and account reconciliation. • Proficiency in handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs. • Familiarity with Oracle software for financial operations. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Solid knowledge of indirect payables and utility payment processing. • Ability to communicate effectively and resolve vendor-related issues. • Prior experience in maintaining financial records and preparing reports. • Commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
