Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the operations of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm. This is a contract position ideal for a proactive, flexible, and professional individual who excels in administrative tasks and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the firm's day-to-day operations run smoothly while assisting with client communications, document management, and scheduling.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>Provide general administrative support to CPA firm staff, including partners, managers, and accountants.<br>Perform data entry, maintain records, and ensure the accuracy of client files and databases.<br>Manage calendars, schedule client meetings, and coordinate appointments for CPA staff.<br>Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and financial documents for client and internal use.<br>Assist in the preparation and organization of tax returns, audit files, and financial statements.<br>Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries in a timely, professional manner.<br>Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests as needed.<br>Support office operations, including ordering supplies and coordinating IT assistance.<br>Ensure filing systems are well-organized and compliant with industry standards and regulations.<br>Handle confidential information with discretion and follow established protocols for data security.
