We are looking for a skilled Support Project Manager/Lead to oversee critical IT infrastructure projects with precision and efficiency. This is a long-term contract position based in Houston, Texas, offering a unique opportunity to manage complex IT transformations for a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of IT infrastructure initiatives, including system migrations, while maintaining compliance and continuity. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute detailed project plans to ensure alignment with business goals and timelines. • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams globally to achieve project objectives efficiently. • Identify, assess, and address potential risks and issues to maintain seamless project execution. • Oversee project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor financial performance to stay within scope. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. • Facilitate organizational change by implementing communication, training, and system adoption strategies. • Manage vendor relationships, including service providers and equipment manufacturers, to ensure project deliverables are met. • Maintain compliance with IT controls and security standards during all phases of the project. • Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies. • Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project to track and optimize workflows.

• A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on IT transformation and system migrations. • Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure workstreams during corporate spinoffs, divestitures, or mergers. • Strong knowledge of networking, cloud technologies, Active Directory, end-user computing, and data center operations. • Demonstrated ability to lead global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in vendor management, including collaboration with managed service providers and cloud providers. • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project. • Familiarity with IT controls, security best practices, and compliance requirements. • A degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
