<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated <strong>Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant</strong> to join our client's growing team. This dynamic role is ideal for accounting professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are looking for an opportunity to transition into a permanent position. You will play a critical role in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization’s accounting procedures.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or other relevant guidelines.</li><li>Maintain general ledger accounts, perform account reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Process and analyze accounts payable and receivable transactions.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on audits and financial reviews.</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable regulatory requirements.</li><li>Provide recommendations on process improvements to enhance efficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams.</li></ul><p><br></p>
