Payroll Administrator
<p>We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee payroll operations for a large workforce, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. This position requires proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and a strong understanding of payroll systems and compliance regulations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process payroll for over 2,000 employees, including hourly, salaried, and union staff, on weekly and biweekly schedules.</p><p>• Prepare detailed reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and guidelines.</p><p>• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation.</p><p>• Maintain accurate payroll records and reconcile employee deductions and liabilities.</p><p>• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.</p><p>• Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for department heads.</p><p>• Safeguard confidential payroll information and uphold employee trust.</p><p>• Review and verify source documents to ensure accuracy in payroll data.</p><p>• Monitor payroll operations and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.</p>
• Minimum of 2-5 years of payroll administration experience.<br>• Expertise in ADP Workforce Now.<br>• Proven ability to process payroll for large employee groups, ideally over 1,000 individuals.<br>• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll compliance regulations.<br>• Experience managing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, including union payroll.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Strong communication skills to handle inquiries and collaborate with internal teams.<br>• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
