<p><strong>Accounting Manager / Supervisor</strong></p><p><strong>South Houston, TX</strong></p><p>We are seeking a hands-on <strong>Accounting Manager / Supervisor</strong> to oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a <strong>small to mid-sized, project-driven environment</strong>. This role manages a small team and works closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely execution of accounting functions.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead a small team covering <strong>AP, AR, payroll, and bookkeeping</strong></li><li>Support and oversee <strong>month-end close</strong>, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting</li><li>Manage <strong>vendor payments</strong>, customer invoicing, and support collections</li><li>Oversee <strong>payroll processing</strong> and related compliance</li><li>Track and depreciate <strong>fixed assets</strong></li><li>Assist with <strong>state/federal filings, audits, and compliance</strong></li><li>Maintain internal controls and ensure data accuracy</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field</strong></li><li><strong>5+ years</strong> of accounting experience (AP, AR, close, fixed assets, financials)</li><li>Experience in an <strong>SMB environment</strong></li><li>Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred</li><li>Industry experience in <strong>project, construction, or EPC</strong> strongly preferred</li></ul><p><br></p>
