HR Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in Houston, Texas. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential HR functions, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, benefits administration, and compliance maintenance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in HR operations and a proactive approach to supporting employees and organizational goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the full onboarding process for new hires, including system setup, documentation, and enrollment in benefits programs.<br>• Facilitate engaging orientation sessions for new employees and ensure all materials are up-to-date.<br>• Maintain and audit onboarding templates and checklists to uphold compliance standards.<br>• Administer employee benefits programs such as healthcare, retirement plans, and insurance offerings.<br>• Coordinate the annual open enrollment process, supporting employees and collaborating with external vendors.<br>• Process enrollment updates, changes, and terminations in HR systems and with benefits carriers.<br>• Conduct audits of benefits information, reconcile invoices, and ensure accurate data management.<br>• Address employee questions regarding benefits and leave policies in a detail-oriented and timely manner.<br>• Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of employee records within HR systems.<br>• Track and manage leave of absence cases, coordinating with third-party administrators as necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in managing onboarding processes and employee benefits administration.<br>• Familiarity with HR compliance requirements and regulations.<br>• Experience with HR systems (HRIS) for data management and reporting.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for auditing and maintaining records.<br>• Ability to handle employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.<br>• Knowledge of background checks and related HR procedures.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
