Specialist, Employee Screening & Compliance
We are looking for a dedicated Specialist in Employee Screening & Compliance to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. This role requires a strong focus on auditing and digitizing important employee documentation, with an emphasis on compliance and accuracy. The position is an onsite opportunity, offering a dynamic environment to contribute to critical HR operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct thorough audits and corrections of employee I-9 forms to ensure compliance.<br>• Organize and categorize paper I-9 documents based on updated reporting guidelines.<br>• Digitize paper I-9 records by scanning them into the company’s designated format.<br>• Collaborate with team members to compile scanned files into comprehensive documents.<br>• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of digital records during the conversion process.<br>• Follow established procedures and guidelines for handling sensitive employee documentation.<br>• Communicate effectively with team members to address discrepancies or issues during the auditing process.<br>• Provide support in maintaining organized and accessible records of employee compliance documents.<br>• Actively contribute to team efforts and participate in project-related discussions.<br>• Adhere to deadlines and quality standards while managing multiple tasks.
• Previous experience in a large corporate environment.<br>• Proven background as an HR Coordinator or similar role involving I-9 documentation.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies.<br>• Receptive to direction and constructive feedback to enhance performance.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Familiarity with compliance and auditing processes.<br>• Proficiency in handling paper and digital documentation.<br>• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.
