Help Desk Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will provide essential support for infrastructure and administrative tasks, ensuring systems are operating efficiently. This position focuses on Level 1 to Level 4 support, including proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems across Windows and Linux environments.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Deliver Level 1 through Level 4 technical support for DevOps and infrastructure systems.<br>• Conduct daily health checks for VMware storage and ensure system reliability.<br>• Monitor system performance using tools like Datadog and address proactive alerts.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to S3 Buckets, including creation, modification, and support.<br>• Review and verify firewall rules to ensure optimal security.<br>• Maintain and support custom-coded applications and deployments.<br>• Perform 24/7 monitoring of systems, addressing QA and QC checks, and escalating issues as necessary.<br>• Troubleshoot user and customer issues, including health check failures.<br>• Collaborate with teams to support Windows and Linux environments effectively.<br>• Assist with ongoing system updates and day-to-day changes.
• Proficiency in Active Directory management.<br>• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 systems.<br>• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating environments.<br>• Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools.<br>• Hands-on experience with VMware and Datadog monitoring tools.<br>• Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with S3 Buckets and firewall configurations.<br>• Ability to perform system health checks and resolve technical issues promptly.<br>• Availability to support 24/7 monitoring and escalation processes.
