<p>Our Houston‑based client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Functional Consultant to lead a full assessment of their current Business Central and CRM environments. This role is ideal for someone who understands how Houston companies operate—fast‑paced, asset‑heavy, and integration‑driven—and can translate business needs into practical, scalable system improvements.</p><p><br></p><p>The consultant will evaluate current processes, cross‑system integrations, and overall platform configuration to identify opportunities for optimization across finance, operations, supply chain, and customer engagement. This assessment will directly influence how the organization modernizes its technology footprint to support growth across multiple Houston‑area business units.</p><p><br></p><p>Beyond the assessment, the ideal candidate will bring the functional leadership needed to guide future enhancement projects, drive adoption, and help the organization get more value from its BC and CRM investments.</p>

<ul><li>Lead a comprehensive review of Business Central and CRM environments to assess current-state processes, configurations, and integrations.</li><li>Identify optimization opportunities aligned with Houston‑based operational needs (field services, distribution, manufacturing, or energy services).</li><li>Document functional gaps and improvement recommendations across finance, operations, supply chain, and customer engagement workflows.</li><li>Evaluate data flows and integrations between BC, CRM, and third‑party systems commonly used in Houston industries.</li><li>Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable system enhancements.</li><li>Provide functional leadership for follow‑on projects including configuration updates, process redesign, and user adoption initiatives.</li><li>Support change management and training to ensure teams across Houston locations can fully leverage BC and CRM capabilities.</li><li>5+ years of functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).</li><li>Strong understanding of CRM integrations and how BC interacts with customer‑facing systems.</li><li>Hands‑on experience mapping business processes in finance, operations, supply chain, or field services.</li><li>Ability to lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into functional requirements.</li><li>Experience supporting Houston‑based industries such as energy services, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics (preferred).</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder‑facing skills with the ability to influence decision‑makers.</li></ul>
