This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with talented colleagues in a fast-paced environment while providing strategic assistance to attorneys on complex legal matters.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Legal Research and Analysis:</strong> Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies, ensuring all information is accurate and relevant. Evaluate applicable statutes, case law, and regulations to provide insight and recommendations </li><li><strong>Draft Briefs and Memoranda:</strong> Prepare comprehensive and persuasive briefs, memoranda, motions, and other legal documents necessary for litigation or transactional matters </li><li><strong>Collaborate with Legal Teams:</strong> Partner with attorneys and paralegals to develop efficient case strategies and assist in the preparation for court proceedings.</li><li><strong>Review Case Materials:</strong> Analyze client files, discovery documents, and other evidence to build strong cases and assist with case presentation </li><li><strong>Compliance Monitoring:</strong> Ensure all casework is executed in compliance with relevant laws, ethical standards, and best practices.</li><li><strong>Stay Current on Legal Trends:</strong> Remain informed on changes to statutes, regulations, case law, and industry developments that may impact legal strategies or outcomes </li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; <u>MUST BE licensed in Texas.</u></li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 4 years of experience as a briefing attorney, legal associate, or similar role in a law firm or corporate legal department.</li><li><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Strong command of legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li><strong>Writing Skills:</strong> Exceptional written communication skills with demonstrated ability to draft high-quality legal documents.</li><li><strong>Attention to Detail:</strong> Meticulous focus on accuracy in legal research and document preparation.</li><li><strong>Problem Solving:</strong> Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop creative, effective solutions.</li><li><strong>Interpersonal Skills:</strong> Strong ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.</li></ul>
