We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. This role requires expertise in NetSuite and strong accounting skills to support audits and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to maintaining accuracy in all financial processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support audit processes and ensure compliance.<br>• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions efficiently.<br>• Record and reconcile journal entries to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.<br>• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.<br>• Utilize NetSuite software to streamline financial operations and reporting.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve accounting processes.<br>• Provide timely financial data and insights to assist organizational decision-making.<br>• Adapt working hours as needed to align with audit requirements and organizational needs.<br>• Maintain documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes.

• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on AP, AR, and general ledger management.<br>• Strong proficiency in NetSuite is mandatory.<br>• Solid understanding of journal entries and bank reconciliation processes.<br>• Ability to analyze financial data and produce accurate reports.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.<br>• Experience supporting audits is highly preferred.<br>• Capability to adapt to dynamic work schedules as required.
