Scanning/Filing Clerk
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Scanning/Filing Clerk to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will assist with a project focused on digitizing and organizing paper documents to ensure efficient storage and retrieval. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare physical documents for scanning by organizing and sorting them as needed.</p><p>• Operate scanning equipment to convert paper files into digital formats with accuracy.</p><p>• Save and name scanned files according to the established document management guidelines.</p><p>• Ensure original documents are properly stored and filed after digitization.</p><p>• Perform quality checks to confirm the clarity and completeness of scanned files.</p><p>• Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive information.</p><p>• Support additional administrative tasks related to document organization and management.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of project goals.</p>
<p>• At least 1 year of experience in filing, scanning, or a related administrative role.</p><p>• Proficiency in operating scanning devices and managing digital files.</p><p>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.</p><p>• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.</p><p>• Familiarity with electronic filing systems and document management processes.</p><p>• Basic computer skills for saving, naming, and managing digital files.</p><p>• Comfortable working with physical documents and file boxes.</p><p>• Comfortable with answering phones </p><p>• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</p>
