Operations Coordinator
<p>The <strong>Operations Coordinator</strong> plays a critical in-office role supporting the Hawaii Health Plan's day-to-day functions. As an <strong>Operations Coordinator</strong>, you will be the first point of contact for members, providers, and vendors who visit the office. The <strong>Operations Coordinator</strong> will also manage mail processes and assist with various operations and leadership projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and service delivery of the plan’s operations team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Greet and assist members with walk-in inquiries in a professional and courteous manner</li><li>Provide support to providers during office visits and ensure their needs are addressed or routed appropriately</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and facilitate their on-site needs or requests</li><li>Pick up, sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail</li><li>Assist with ongoing and ad hoc operations projects assigned by the Operations team</li><li>Support Health Plan Leadership with administrative and operational tasks</li><li>Maintain accurate logs, files, and documentation as required</li><li>Ensure a professional and welcoming office environment for all visitors and staff</li><li>Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders</li><li>Uphold confidentiality and follow standard operating procedures consistently</li></ul>
<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of <strong>2 years of customer service experience</strong></li><li>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office</strong> (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)</li><li>Ability to <strong>work independently</strong> and handle multiple tasks with efficiency</li><li>Prior experience in healthcare or administrative support preferred but not required</li><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent </li></ul>
