<p>We are looking for an organized and service-oriented Pier Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of pier operations by coordinating administrative duties, supporting check-in processes, and facilitating communication between ship and shore teams. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and organize all operational supplies, equipment, and reports, such as boarding and luggage manifests, entertainment/vendor lists, and guest records.</p><p>• Assign and coordinate guaranteed staterooms while keeping guest statuses up to date.</p><p>• Assist the Pier Supervisor with check-in operations, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.</p><p>• Manage the onboarding process for staff, contractors, entertainers, crew families, and employees, ensuring all documentation is accurate.</p><p>• Investigate and resolve name discrepancies, stateroom issues, and booking conflicts using systems like AS400.</p><p>• Address guest concerns with professionalism, completing necessary forms to ensure timely resolution.</p><p>• Track and document pier metrics, maintain incident logs, and reconcile guest count discrepancies between ship and shore.</p><p>• Act as a key liaison between ship and shoreside operations to ensure seamless communication and workflow.</p>

• At least 3 years of experience in administrative or operational coordination roles.<br>• Proficiency in using booking and reporting systems such as AS400 and Brio.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address logistical and guest-related challenges.<br>• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.<br>• High attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure operational consistency.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.<br>• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven role.
