Legal Secretary
<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide essential administrative and clerical support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information efficiently. If you are interested in this opportunity, please call us at 808-531-0800 to learn more and apply. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, proofread, and process legal documents and correspondence in a timely manner</li><li>Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, including pleadings, discovery documents, and client records</li><li>Schedule meetings, court dates, depositions, and maintain attorneys’ calendars</li><li>Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails professionally</li><li>Coordinate delivery and filing of legal documents with courts and other parties</li><li>Assist attorneys with time entry, billing, and expense reporting</li><li>Conduct basic research and gather information as requested by attorneys and staff</li><li>Provide excellent customer service to clients, court staff, and vendors</li><li>Perform general administrative tasks, such as copying, scanning, and filing</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal or administrative training preferred</li><li>Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal support role preferred</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with legal management software a plus</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion</li></ul><p><br></p>
