Benefits Assistant
We are looking for a skilled Benefits Assistant to join our team in Haines City, Florida. In this contract role, you will play a vital part in managing employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to employee satisfaction and organizational success through your expertise in compensation and benefits.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and maintain employee benefits data with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to benefits administration.<br>• Address employee inquiries regarding benefits programs, providing clear and supportive communication.<br>• Collaborate with the Benefits team and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.<br>• Monitor and coordinate Leave of Absences, Workers’ Compensation, and other benefits programs.<br>• Analyze and update benefits information using intermediate to advanced Excel functions.<br>• Uphold confidentiality and security of sensitive employee data.<br>• Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, fostering a positive and supportive experience.<br>• Assist with reporting and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping.<br>• Contribute to team efforts by providing insights and solutions to enhance benefits operations.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, and strong skills in Microsoft Word.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.<br>• Solid understanding of employee benefits programs, regulations, and company policies.<br>• Ability to effectively communicate with employees and address their concerns.<br>• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to handle challenges efficiently.<br>• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.<br>• Experience with FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and other related benefits.<br>• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
