<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and is eager to tackle both strategic and transactional accounting tasks. The position requires a hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex systems efficiently.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.</p><p>• Conduct daily reconciliations for bank accounts, loans, and balance sheets across 40+ accounts.</p><p>• Process and review accounts payable invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p>• Handle 50–100 unique journal entries monthly, alongside system-generated entries.</p><p>• Support daily accounting operations by posting fundings and managing excess receipts.</p><p>• Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy in transaction volumes and activities.</p><p>• Collaborate with lenders, management, and internal teams to address accounting inquiries and operational needs.</p><p>• Contribute to various ad hoc accounting and operational projects as required.</p>

• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables.<br>• Extensive experience with reconciliations in a high-volume accounting environment.<br>• Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting processes.<br>• Ability to perform both senior-level and transactional accounting tasks with precision.<br>• Commitment to working fully onsite in Greenwood Village, Colorado.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and aptitude for managing complex accounting workflows.<br>• Experience with intercompany accounting and exposure to multi-currency environments is preferred.<br>• Willingness to adapt to steep learning curves associated with proprietary systems.
