<p>We are looking for a skilled Buyer to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role requires expertise in procurement, including import/export processes, and ideally a background in the aviation industry. The ideal candidate will excel in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-saving strategies.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and sourcing strategies to ensure optimal procurement outcomes.</p><p>• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.</p><p>• Achieve cost reduction targets through strategic purchasing and vendor management.</p><p>• Identify and source new components promptly to meet operational needs.</p><p>• Maintain and update item master data within enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Create purchase orders and collaborate with accounts payable to guarantee timely payments to suppliers.</p><p>• Track engineering changes and integrate them into procurement processes as needed.</p><p>• Support the sourcing team in achieving supply chain excellence through effective collaboration.</p><p>• Work closely with internal departments and external partners, including vendors, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and quality assurance.</p>

<p>• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.</p><p>• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.</p><p>• Proven ability to meet cost reduction and sourcing deadlines.</p><p>• Proficiency in using large enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for procurement activities.</p><p>• Detail-oriented with experience in tracking and integrating engineering changes.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments and with external partners.</p><p>• Background in aviation procurement is highly desirable.</p>
