We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team in Gray Court, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage procurement activities, optimize sourcing strategies, and ensure seamless coordination with suppliers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, negotiation, and supply chain management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage procurement activities, including import/export processes and customs compliance.<br>• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve cost-saving goals.<br>• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.<br>• Collaborate with engineering teams to track and implement changes effectively.<br>• Set up and maintain item master data in the organization's systems.<br>• Create purchase orders and coordinate with accounts payable to ensure timely supplier payments.<br>• Source new components on schedule to support production and operational needs.<br>• Support the sourcing team in achieving supply chain excellence.<br>• Work closely with vendors, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and quality assurance teams to align objectives and improve outcomes.

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management.<br>• Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs processes.<br>• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.<br>• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.<br>• Demonstrated success in achieving cost reduction targets.<br>• Ability to analyze and optimize purchasing strategies.<br>• Effective collaboration and communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Detail-oriented approach to managing data and tracking engineering changes.
