We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Greeley, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with operational teams in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.• Manage general ledger activities, including maintaining and reconciling accounts.• Conduct and support financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.• Reconcile complex accounts to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and reporting.• Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced accounting staff, fostering growth and development.• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles. • Strong expertise in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities. • Proven experience with financial statement audits and compliance requirements. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
