<p>We are looking for a diligent and analytical <strong>Technical Accounting Analyst</strong> to join our clients team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial reporting efforts, ensuring compliance with required filings, and delivering insightful internal management reports. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about producing accurate and meaningful financial analyses.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and analyze financial reports for regulatory filings, including disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K statements.</p><p>• Develop monthly and quarterly financial packages to support internal management reporting.</p><p>• Conduct variance analyses, comparing budget-to-actual and actual-to-actual performance.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data for accurate reporting.</p><p>• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals for international business units by analyzing profitability and financial ratios.</p><p>• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects as required.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and maintain technical accounting standards.</p><p>• Support month-end close activities, including footnote preparation and detailed disclosures.</p>

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or financial analysis.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems.<br>• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.<br>• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.<br>• Prior experience in public accounting is preferred.<br>• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and processes is a plus.
