Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic team within the non-profit sector in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this contract position, you will oversee multiple projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and are completed within budget, scope, and timeline. This role requires strong leadership, resource optimization, and the ability to navigate compliance requirements while delivering impactful results.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and successful completion within defined constraints.<br>• Develop and implement policies aimed at enhancing program outcomes and promoting organizational efficiency.<br>• Monitor compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, maintaining accurate documentation and case records.<br>• Oversee resource allocation using project management tools and platforms, addressing any issues or changes in scope.<br>• Build and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project milestones and progress.<br>• Supervise and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.<br>• Prepare detailed progress reports and financial documentation, ensuring accurate tracking of budgets and grant performance.<br>• Conduct field mentoring and deliver training sessions to support team development and operational effectiveness.<br>• Utilize tools and systems to streamline project management processes and optimize service delivery.<br>• Represent the organization at community events, housing sites, or training sessions as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, social work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).<br>• At least 2 years of project management experience, preferably within the non-profit sector.<br>• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.<br>• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.<br>• Valid driver’s license required.<br>• Project management certification such as PMP or experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.<br>• Familiarity with cross-functional project management and resource optimization.<br>• Prior relevant experience is strongly preferred.
