The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting practices and leadership skills to support the organization's financial health and drive continuous improvement.</p><p><br></p><p>For confidential consideration, please apply or email your resume to Dana Klier out of the Rochester, NY Robert Half office.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage the daily operations of the accounting and business office, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.</p><p>• Lead the creation of the annual budget and analyze variances to provide actionable insights.</p><p>• Coordinate audit processes, address findings, and ensure timely compliance with regulatory standards.</p><p>• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain accurate financial records.</p><p>• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in alignment with organizational standards.</p><p>• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including end-of-month financial reports and reconciliations.</p><p>• Conduct cash management activities, including bank transfers and positive pay programs.</p><p>• Supervise and mentor accounting and business office staff, fostering growth and development.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial operations.</p><p>• Collaborate on cost-saving initiatives and provide recommendations based on financial analysis.</p>

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of accounting experience.<br>• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial reporting and analysis.<br>• Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of solving complex financial problems.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.<br>• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse teams.<br>• Leadership capabilities to mentor and guide staff toward achieving organizational goals.<br>• Competence in interpreting and presenting financial data to key stakeholders.<br>• Preferred certification in accounting or finance, though not required.
