Project Assistant
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a short-term Contract assignment in Gainesville, Florida. This role will help document and evaluate furniture across multiple school locations, using a tablet-based process to capture accurate site information. The position is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working in different environments each day, and able to stay active throughout a full schedule.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Travel to assigned school campuses each day and assist with project activities across multiple locations within the district.<br>• Review furniture at each site and record condition and inventory details accurately using an iPad.<br>• Move through indoor and outdoor campus areas efficiently while completing assessments on schedule.<br>• Meet with project leads at the beginning of the day, then follow site assignments and daily instructions for each school visit.<br>• Support timely completion of project goals by helping cover several campuses during each workday.<br>• Maintain a detail-oriented presence on school grounds while following client guidelines for safety and conduct.<br>• Use provided equipment, including a safety vest and tablet, to complete assigned documentation tasks.<br>• Help keep project information organized and report completed work clearly to supervisors at the end of each day.
• Comfortable using tablets or iPads for data entry and field documentation.<br>• Able to walk for extended periods and remain active throughout the workday.<br>• Capable of working at different school sites on a rotating daily assignment.<br>• Detail-oriented approach with practical attire suitable for active onsite work, including comfortable shoes and pants.<br>• Strong attention to detail when capturing inventory and assessment information.<br>• Dependable time management skills and the ability to follow a structured daily schedule.<br>• Interest in project-based work involving coordination, tracking, and onsite support.
