Project Assistant
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a short-term Contract assignment in Gainesville, Florida. In this role, you will help collect and document furniture inventory data across multiple school locations using provided mobile equipment. This opportunity is well suited for dependable individuals who are comfortable moving between sites, staying organized throughout the day, and contributing to a fast-paced project with a defined timeline.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Travel to assigned school campuses each day and support on-site project activities across multiple locations.<br>• Review furniture items at each site and record accurate inventory and condition details using an iPad.<br>• Assist with assessment efforts by documenting findings in a consistent and organized manner.<br>• Move throughout school buildings and grounds to complete assigned walkthroughs and data collection tasks.<br>• Meet with project leads at the beginning of the workday to receive assignments, directions, and site coverage plans.<br>• Collaborate with team members as groups are deployed to different schools and complete scheduled visits each day.<br>• Use client-provided equipment, including a tablet and safety vest, in accordance with project expectations.<br>• Maintain a detail-oriented presence on school campuses while following daily instructions and completing work on schedule.
• Comfortable using tablets or iPads for data entry and field-based documentation.<br>• Able to remain active throughout the day and walk for extended periods across multiple sites.<br>• Capable of working the required hours for the duration of the project assignment.<br>• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing site assignments from day to day.<br>• Practical attire suitable for active site work, including comfortable shoes and pants.<br>• Strong attention to detail when capturing inventory information and assessment results.<br>• Ability to follow direction, stay organized, and support project timelines effectively.
