Project Assistant
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a short-term Contract assignment across school locations in Gainesville, Florida. In this role, you will help document and evaluate furniture assets at multiple sites while using provided mobile equipment to capture assessment details accurately. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment, and able to adapt to changing daily site assignments.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Travel to assigned school locations each day and support on-site project activities across multiple campuses.<br>• Review furniture items in various school settings and record condition and inventory details using a client-provided iPad.<br>• Move efficiently between buildings and campuses to complete scheduled assessments within daily project timelines.<br>• Attend the daily team check-in before heading to designated sites and follow direction from project supervisors throughout the assignment.<br>• Maintain accurate digital records and ensure collected information is complete, organized, and submitted as required.<br>• Work collaboratively with team members who are deployed across different schools to help keep the project on schedule.<br>• Wear provided safety gear and follow site-specific expectations while representing the project professionally.<br>• Support coverage at different school locations as needed during the five-day assignment period.
• Comfortable using tablets or iPads to enter and review information during fieldwork.<br>• Able to remain active throughout the day, including frequent walking between and within school sites.<br>• Practical work attire suitable for mobile site-based assignments, including comfortable shoes and pants.<br>• Strong reliability and punctuality with the ability to report to changing locations as assigned.<br>• Capable of following schedules, directions, and project procedures in a team environment.<br>• Experience with timeline coordination, scanning, or project support tasks is helpful.<br>• Interest in project coordination, inventory-related work, or field-based assessment activities.<br>• No minimum experience required; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
