Project Assistant
We are looking for a dependable Project Assistant to support a short-term contract assignment across school sites in Gainesville, Florida. This Contract position focuses on visiting multiple campuses to document and evaluate furniture using a client-provided iPad while working as part of a larger field team. The role is well suited to someone who is organized, comfortable with mobile technology, and able to stay active throughout the workday.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Travel to assigned school campuses each day and support on-site project activities across multiple locations<br>• Review furniture at each site and record assessment details accurately using a tablet device<br>• Move efficiently between buildings and campuses while maintaining productivity throughout the day<br>• Participate in daily team check-ins before heading to designated school assignments<br>• Help organize and complete inventory-related tasks within scheduled timeframes<br>• Follow supervisor direction closely and provide clear updates on completed work<br>• Handle client-issued equipment responsibly, including an iPad and safety vest<br>• Contribute to a fast-moving field project that may involve visiting several schools in a single day
• Comfortable using tablets or iPads to enter and manage information<br>• Able to walk and remain physically active for extended periods during the shift<br>• Capable of working at different school sites on a rotating daily schedule<br>• Detail-oriented approach with practical attire suitable for active on-site work<br>• Strong attention to detail when documenting inventory and assessment information<br>• Reliable time management skills and ability to follow project timelines<br>• Open to entry-level candidates with 0+ years of experience
