Credentialing Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Credentialing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Fresno, California. The ideal candidate will excel in managing credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in credentialing procedures.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle the full lifecycle of credentialing processes for healthcare providers, including initial applications and re-credentialing.<br>• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and organizational requirements.<br>• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of provider credentials in the system.<br>• Communicate effectively with providers to gather necessary information and address credentialing inquiries.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline credentialing workflows and resolve issues.<br>• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of credentialing documentation.<br>• Conduct thorough reviews of credentialing applications to verify accuracy and completeness.<br>• Stay informed on changes in credentialing regulations and industry standards.<br>• Provide support during audits and inspections related to credentialing.<br>• Identify opportunities for improving credentialing processes and implement enhancements.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credentialing or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in managing credentialing processes, including initial and re-credentialing applications.<br>• Familiarity with physician and provider credentialing standards.<br>• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to credentialing.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and internal teams.<br>• Experience using credentialing software or systems.<br>• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
