Accounts Receivable Clerk
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract to permanent basis in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring compliance with grants and contracts, and supporting financial reporting activities. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Generate and process customer invoices while ensuring timely collection of payments.</p><p>• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies promptly.</p><p>• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable activities.</p><p>• Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and address outstanding balances.</p><p>• Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable, grants, and contracts.</p><p>• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and grant/contract guidelines.</p><p>• Develop and strengthen internal controls to safeguard financial assets and maintain accuracy.</p><p>• Collaborate with auditors by providing documentation and clarifications during audits.</p><p>• Contribute to the analysis and reporting of grant revenue and accounts receivable data.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.<br>• Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including billing, cash applications, and collections.<br>• Strong understanding of grants accounting and compliance with contract terms.<br>• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in reconciling transactions.<br>• Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and meet reporting deadlines.<br>• Familiarity with internal controls and financial compliance requirements.<br>• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and auditors.<br>• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
