Inventory Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Fremont, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing parts inventory, preparing kits for technical staff, and ensuring the accurate organization of materials. This position involves hands-on work with inventory systems, material handling, and collaboration with team members to maintain efficiency in operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assemble and prepare parts kits with 5-10 items based on job requirements.<br>• Verify parts against job orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.<br>• Organize and store completed kits for easy access by technical teams.<br>• Record received parts in the inventory system accurately and promptly.<br>• Compare shipment details against purchase orders and address any inconsistencies.<br>• Utilize dollies, forklifts, or other equipment to transport heavy materials as needed.<br>• Coordinate movement of parts between different locations within the facility.<br>• Maintain a well-organized inventory system to streamline operations.
• Previous experience in inventory management or kit preparation.<br>• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and tools.<br>• Ability to lift and transport heavy materials safely, with assistance if needed.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.<br>• Knowledge of assembly line processes and procedures.<br>• Experience with physical inventory counts and audits.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
