Our healthcare client is looking for a skilled Revenue Accountant to join their team in Franklin, Tennessee on a contract basis. In this role, you will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a hands-on approach to revenue accounting processes and offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean-up project within the organization. Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee month-end close processes, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.• Conduct detailed revenue recognition analysis to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrections.• Review and adjust entries in the income statement to maintain accuracy and reliability.• Collaborate with internal teams to collect necessary data, resolve issues, and document corrections effectively.• Suggest and implement process improvements to optimize revenue accounting practices.• Utilize Intacct software to support accounting tasks and streamline workflows.

• Extensive experience in revenue accounting, with healthcare industry experience being a plus.• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.• Proven expertise in month-end close, financial statement preparation, and journal entries.• Ability to conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews.• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly in clean-up projects.• Familiarity with Intacct software is preferred.• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
