Revenue Accountant
<p>Our client is looking for a skilled <strong>Revenue Accountant</strong> to join their team on a <strong>contract </strong>basis in <strong>Franklin</strong>, Tennessee. In this role, you will take ownership of revenue accounting tasks, including month-end close activities and financial statement preparation, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is an onsite position requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and improve processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results.</p><p>• Conduct in-depth revenue recognition analysis to comply with ASC 606 standards.</p><p>• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address discrepancies to ensure accuracy.</p><p>• Review and adjust entries within income statements to maintain precision.</p><p>• Collaborate with various teams to collect data, resolve accounting issues, and document corrections.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance revenue accounting practices.</p><p>• Utilize Intacct software for accounting operations and reporting.</p><p>• Support clean-up projects by analyzing and correcting financial records.</p><p>• Prepare detailed financial statements that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.</p>
<p>• Extensive experience in revenue accounting, with healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 compliance and revenue recognition principles would be helpful.</p><p>• Proven track record of managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.</p><p>• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews.</p><p>• Familiarity with <strong>Intacct </strong>software or similar accounting platforms.</p><p>• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</p><p>• Ability to efficiently manage clean-up projects and resolve discrepancies.</p><p>• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.</p>
