<p>Robert Half has a client in the Manufacturing/Distributing industry seeking a Warehouse IT Support Specialist. The ideal candidate for this position would have at least 3 - 5 years of IT support experience within a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment. This will be a contract to hire opportunity. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the technology ecosystem of the warehouse environment, with a primary focus on Zebra handheld scanners and Zebra printers. </li><li>This role ensures seamless device operation to optimize warehouse productivity and accuracy.</li><li>Provide day-to-day technical support for Zebra handheld devices (e.g., TC series scanners) and Zebra label printers (e.g., ZT and GK series) used in warehouse operations.</li><li>Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Zebra devices for pick, pack, ship, inventory, and receiving processes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Provide day-to-day technical support for Zebra handheld devices (e.g., TC series scanners) and Zebra label printers (e.g., ZT and GK series) used in warehouse operations.</li><li>Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Zebra devices for pick, pack, ship, inventory, and receiving processes.</li><li>Install, upgrade, and maintain firmware and software on Zebra devices, ensuring compatibility with warehouse management systems (WMS).</li><li>Diagnose device connectivity issues and resolve barcode scanning, wireless networking, and printing problems.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for warehouse staff experiencing device-related technical issues.</li><li>Document support incidents, resolutions, and perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues.</li><li>Collaborate with IT and Operations to manage inventory, replacements, and lifecycle of Zebra devices.</li><li>Train warehouse personnel on proper device usage and basic troubleshooting techniques.</li><li>Monitor device performance and proactively address issues to avoid operational disruptions.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of emerging warehouse technology trends, especially Zebra hardware and software advancements.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting WMS, ERP, or inventory control systems.</li><li>Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) tools.</li><li>Technical certifications related to Zebra devices or warehouse IT support are a plus.</li></ul>
