Desktop Support Technician
<p>We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This contract position involves providing technical assistance and ensuring the smooth setup and deployment of laptops and related software for new employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and technical expertise to support our onboarding and device management processes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION: DESKTOP SUPPORT</strong></p><p><strong>LOCATION: DALLAS, 75201 ONSITE</strong></p><p><strong>DURATION: 3-6 MONTHS</strong></p><p><strong>RATE: $25-$28/HOUR</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong>:</p><p>• Configure and prepare laptops to meet company specifications, ensuring readiness for use.</p><p>• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues prior to deployment.</p><p>• Install and manage applications using Intune while adhering to policies within Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID.</p><p>• Coordinate the shipment of laptops to new hires, ensuring timely delivery and communication.</p><p>• Keep accurate records of devices, shipping details, and related documentation.</p><p>• Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar platforms to track and address support requests.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate seamless onboarding processes and resolve potential issues.</p>
<p>• Proficiency with Intune, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID is essential.</p><p>• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar tools.</p><p>• Knowledge of laptop hardware including RAM</p><p>• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in desktop support.</p><p>• Experience configuring laptops.</p><p><br></p>
