Accounts Receivable Specialist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Payable Specialist to join our team in Fletcher, North Carolina. This contract-to-permanent opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions and ensuring smooth operations within the accounts receivable department. If you have strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy, we encourage you to apply.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.</p><p>• Apply payments accurately to customer accounts and ensure proper documentation of cash activity.</p><p>• Manage commercial collections by communicating with clients to resolve outstanding balances.</p><p>• Handle billing functions, ensuring invoices are generated and distributed in a timely manner.</p><p>• Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging, providing updates to management.</p><p>• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments or billing issues.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable operations and improve efficiency.</p><p>• Maintain accurate financial records and comply with company policies and procedures.</p><p>• Assist in preparing reports and summaries for audits or management reviews.</p><p>• Provide exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries related to accounts receivable.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.<br>• Proficiency in cash applications and managing payment processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and client account management.<br>• Experience with billing functions and ensuring accurate invoicing.<br>• Ability to analyze and report cash activity effectively.<br>• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Familiarity with financial software and tools is preferred.
