We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Farmington, Connecticut. As part of the aerospace industry, this role requires exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of accounting principles. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. • Prepare and post journal entries, reconciling any discrepancies as needed. • Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and external statements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and improve processes. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. • Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience with a focus on precision and attention to detail, preferably in the aerospace industry. • Expertise in month-end close procedures and general ledger management. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes. • Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
