We are looking for a skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team in Farmingdale, New York. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounts receivable, portals, cash applications, chargebacks/deductions, credit memos, and reversals, high volume accounts payable via email and portals, full cycle payable processing, reconciliations, and month-end close. Responsibilities:• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and recording cash receipts such as ACH payments.• Reconcile lockbox accounts with internal systems to ensure accuracy in financial records.• Process incoming wires and ACH transactions efficiently and in a timely manner.• Apply cash payments accurately to the corresponding accounts.• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain account integrity.• Utilize web portals to handle chargebacks and generate aging reports.• Prepare and reconcile bank deposits to ensure proper documentation.• Assist in month-end close activities by verifying account balances and resolving outstanding issues.• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements Candidates must be willing to go to transfer to (2) areas on site: Hauppauge, NY and New Hyde Park, NY for long periods of time.APPLY HERE or send your resume to Lorraine.cochrane at roberthalf com

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and related accounting functions.• Proficiency in managing billing processes, account reconciliations, and cash applications.• Strong knowledge of web portals and handling chargebacks.
