<p>A fast-growing technology company in Encinitas is seeking a <strong>Senior Accountant</strong> to take ownership of core accounting functions and help scale financial processes. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and partnering with leadership in a dynamic environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead month-end and year-end close processes</li><li>Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations</li><li>Oversee revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules</li><li>Review financial statements and variance analyses</li><li>Maintain internal controls and support audit activities</li><li>Mentor junior accounting staff</li><li>Collaborate with FP& A and leadership on reporting needs</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred</li><li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting</li><li>Experience in technology or high-growth environments preferred</li><li>Advanced Excel and accounting system experience</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><br></p>
