In this role, you will manage financial aspects of property management, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes and compliance with financial regulations. This position requires expertise in property accounting and a strong understanding of month-end close procedures. Responsibilities:• Oversee property accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records and reports.• Perform month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.• Manage accrual accounting procedures to align with financial standards.• Maintain the general ledger with precision and consistency.• Collaborate with property management teams to track and report financial performance.• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.• Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for stakeholders.• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.• Utilize Yardi software for efficient property management and accounting tasks.• Support audits and assist in resolving discrepancies as needed.

• Proven experience in property accounting, particularly in residential property management. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and accrual accounting. • Proficiency in maintaining and managing general ledger accounts. • Familiarity with Yardi software or similar property management tools. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
