We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our non-profit organization in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This role offers an opportunity to lead and enhance financial operations, ensuring the organization maintains a strong fiscal foundation to support its impactful programs. The ideal candidate will bring vision, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in financial management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration with attention to detail.<br>• Manage and oversee all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including monthly financial reporting and reconciliation.<br>• Drive the budgeting process, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure financial stability.<br>• Develop and refine financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.<br>• Deliver accurate financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across departments.<br>• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage external reporting requirements.<br>• Lead audit preparation and facilitate annual reporting processes with precision and timeliness.<br>• Optimize business office operations through training programs, performance reviews, and hands-on support.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.<br>• A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.<br>• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.<br>• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial systems.<br>• Willingness to travel as needed to support organizational functions.<br>• Certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred but not mandatory.
