<p>Robert Half is partnering with a local ag leader in their desire to hire a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant. In this role, you will handle key financial tasks, ensuring compliance with corporate regulations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and possess strong analytical skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and file corporate tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations.</p><p>• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.</p><p>• Execute journal entries and reconcile accounts to support monthly and annual financial reporting.</p><p>• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responses.</p><p>• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, recommending improvements where necessary.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and reporting.</p><p>• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.</p><p>• Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies related to financial transactions.</p><p>• Participate in special projects as needed to enhance accounting processes and systems.</p>

<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p><p>• Previous experience with fixed assets</p><p>• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entries.</p><p>• Familiarity with auditing processes and requirements.</p><p>• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.</p><p>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</p><p>• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with teams.</p><p>• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.</p>
