Controller
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Denver, Colorado on a Contract basis. This role will oversee core accounting operations, support a timely monthly close, and help prepare the organization for audit activities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to manage revenue recognition and enterprise-level receivables in a structured environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring financial results are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.<br>• Oversee revenue recognition activities and apply appropriate accounting treatment for straightforward revenue streams.<br>• Manage accounts receivable processes for enterprise customers and monitor collections, reconciliations, and account accuracy.<br>• Provide support during external audit preparation and coordinate documentation needed for a smooth audit process.<br>• Handle limited accounts payable activities while maintaining proper controls and timely processing.<br>• Assist with accounting analysis related to purchase price allocation matters when needed.<br>• Maintain reliable financial records within Zoho and QuickBooks and support related accounting workflows.<br>• Contribute to accounting system integration efforts as needed, ensuring continuity and data accuracy during the process.
• Demonstrated experience in month-end close and related accounting activities.<br>• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and practical application.<br>• Experience supporting audits and preparing accurate financial documentation.<br>• Proficiency with Zoho, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.<br>• Ability to manage enterprise-level accounts receivable in an organized and detail-oriented manner.<br>• Knowledge of general accounting operations, including reconciliations and financial reporting.<br>• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a Contract role.
