We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join a leading international construction company in Denver, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to lead a major business unit, collaborate closely with executive leadership, and oversee a team of finance professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in financial management, compliance, and operational oversight. Responsibilities: • Prepare and manage accurate financial reports to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. • Oversee cash management processes, ensuring optimal resource allocation and liquidity. • Provide leadership to the finance and accounting team, offering guidance and setting strategic objectives. • Maintain compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting principles. • Supervise project accounting activities to ensure financial accuracy and accountability. • Collaborate with executive leaders to align financial strategies with organizational goals. • Manage insurance requirements, ensuring adequate coverage and risk mitigation. • Assist with tax planning and compliance to meet regulatory requirements. • Support the maintenance and improvement of internal financial systems and processes.

• Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and US GAAP accounting principles. • Demonstrated expertise in cash management and resource allocation. • CPA certification with an active license is required. • Previous experience in the construction industry is highly preferred. • Ability to oversee and mentor a team of finance professionals. • Proficiency in managing project accounting and financial oversight. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
