We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations within the banking industry. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial services and hands-on expertise in managing all aspects of accounting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage all accounting functions, including month-end close processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day operations.<br>• Oversee regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with federal banking standards.<br>• Process payroll bi-weekly for employees using ADP system.<br>• Utilize Fed Reporter software to handle call reporting tasks effectively.<br>• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements using Fiserv Precision Core system.<br>• Collaborate with the operations team to address administrative accounting tasks as needed.<br>• Conduct treasury operations, including cash flow management and reconciliation.<br>• Provide expertise in financial systems and tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Fiserv software.<br>• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting deliverables.

• Proven experience in financial services, particularly within the banking industry.<br>• Proficiency in Fiserv software, including Precision Core and Pro Log for financials.<br>• Hands-on expertise in managing A-Z accounting functions, including payroll and month-end close.<br>• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance requirements for federally chartered banks.<br>• Strong knowledge of ADP payroll systems.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.<br>• Ability to handle treasury operations and cash flow management.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
