Project Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in DeLand, Florida. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for an individual with experience in general contracting or construction who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves managing project schedules, overseeing work orders, and coordinating resources to ensure successful project completion.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction activities.<br>• Create, track, and manage work orders throughout various project phases, ensuring accuracy and completion.<br>• Act as a key point of contact between departments, facilitating smooth communication and efficient workflow.<br>• Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.<br>• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to align resources and materials with project requirements.<br>• Regularly update and adjust schedules to accommodate changing priorities or unforeseen challenges.<br>• Provide stakeholders and management with progress updates, highlighting achievements and addressing any concerns.<br>• Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Proven experience in construction, general contracting, or a related industry.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.<br>• Proficiency in using project management tools or software to track tasks and deadlines.<br>• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Ability to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions to maintain project momentum.<br>• High attention to detail in tracking and documenting schedules and work orders.<br>• Familiarity with construction processes and terminology is strongly preferred.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and other project management software.
