We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will handle key financial tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This position offers the flexibility of working a hybrid schedule while contributing to the accurate and efficient operation of our accounting systems. Responsibilities:• Prepare and record accurate journal entries to ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.• Perform account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.• Assist with month-end closing activities, including the preparation of detailed reports.• Utilize Dynamics NAV software to manage and analyze financial data.• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all accounting practices.• Participate in ad hoc projects to support the accounting department's evolving needs.• Collaborate with team members to streamline and enhance accounting processes.

• Proven experience in journal entries and general ledger management.• Strong proficiency in using Dynamics NAV or other versions of Microsoft Dynamics.• Solid understanding of GAAP and its application in financial practices.• Experience with month-end closing processes and reconciliations.• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
