Security Network Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Security Network Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Dallas, Texas, and requires a detail-oriented individual with solid expertise in network security and related technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to securing and optimizing network systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Implement and manage Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure robust network security.<br>• Configure and maintain Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to support efficient routing and connectivity.<br>• Monitor and enhance network security protocols to minimize vulnerabilities and risks.<br>• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco routers and other networking devices to maintain seamless operations.<br>• Utilize Cisco ASA to oversee and strengthen firewall security measures.<br>• Collaborate with team members to design and deploy secure network infrastructures.<br>• Conduct regular assessments to identify and address potential security threats.<br>• Provide technical support and guidance for resolving complex network security issues.<br>• Document network configurations and update security protocols as necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience in network security engineering or a related field, demonstrating attention to detail.<br>• Strong expertise in configuring and managing Palo Alto Firewalls.<br>• In-depth knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its implementation.<br>• Proven experience with Cisco routers and networking systems.<br>• Familiarity with Cisco ASA and its security applications.<br>• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.<br>• Ability to analyze and resolve complex network security issues effectively.<br>• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
