Based in Dallas, Texas, the position offers a hybrid work arrangement and the opportunity to work closely with leadership to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Interim Accounting Manager:Responsibilities:• Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end close processes.• Ensure accuracy in financial records while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.• Monitor and manage cash flow, budget forecasting, and expense tracking to optimize financial health.• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets and ensure transparency.• Coordinate tax compliance efforts and liaise with external tax advisors to meet reporting requirements.• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy, long-term planning, and operational improvements.• Process payroll and oversee benefits administration to ensure employee satisfaction and compliance.• Optimize the use of accounting software and integrate tools to streamline processes and reporting.• Support audits, investor reporting, and financial due diligence to ensure organizational accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within a small business or startup environment. • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. • Experience with subscription billing platforms and payroll or HR systems is highly desirable. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage complex tasks. • Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborating with executive leadership. • Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting processes.
