We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Oregon. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in corporate tax, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Prepare and file corporate tax returns in compliance with regulatory guidelines. • Record and maintain accurate journal entries to support day-to-day accounting activities. • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy. • Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions. • Handle credit card reconciliations to ensure proper documentation and reporting. • Compile and prepare financial statements, ensuring they align with company and industry standards. • Utilize Viewpoint Vista software to streamline accounting processes and reporting. • Assist with audits and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting workflows and procedures. • Provide support for month-end and year-end close processes.

• Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance.• Proficiency in recording journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.• Strong knowledge of bank and credit card reconciliation procedures.• Ability to prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements.• Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista software is highly desirable.• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members.• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
